Job Summary
Manage day-to-day food and beverage operations in the hotel while ensuring highest quality and budget compliance. Assist in developing financial goals, accurately forecast revenue and expenses, and ensure staff training in financial controls for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables. Create and distribute team member schedules, identify major revenue and expense opportunities, and develop marketing and sales plans including menus, promotions, and displays within brand guidelines. Maintain sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment to comply with regulations. Utilize the POS system and handle problems in stressful situations while providing excellent guest service. Flexible scheduling availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to utilize POS system
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Food and Beverage/Hospitality profession
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Valid Driver's License
