Job Summary
Kitchen Assistant at Parkdean Resorts supporting a busy culinary team. Responsibilities include washing, peeling and preparing ingredients; receiving deliveries and checking stock; rotating stock to maintain freshness; keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic; assisting with basic food preparation as directed by senior chefs; and upholding safeguarding, health & safety and hygiene responsibilities. Requires good manual dexterity, a positive energetic approach, strong communication, and teamwork, with flexibility for varied shifts (evenings, weekends, bank holidays). Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete training) and DBS/background checks as appropriate.
