Job Summary
Kitchen Assistant in Parkdean Resorts supporting the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Commis Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities include washing, peeling and preparing ingredients, receiving deliveries, stock checks, rotating stock to preserve freshness and reduce waste, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation as directed, and upholding safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene standards. Requires good manual dexterity, a positive and energetic attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be adaptable to shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays; Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete training with company support); DBS/background checks may be carried out.
