Job Summary
Welcome guests, escort them to assigned tables, and seat them in station rotation while managing guest lists and enforcing check procedures. Assign opening and closing side duties, supervise setups, and assist with bussing tables and cocktail orders. Maintain the reservation book, handle incoming calls, and ensure proper table settings before service. Communicate guest requests to the manager and uphold cleanliness and appearance standards across all service areas. Incorporate safe work practices and maintain reliable attendance. Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must complete Alcohol Awareness Training
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of point of sale (POS) system
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months of related experience or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and listen
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds
- Ability to reach with arms and hands, use hands, taste, smell, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Eligibility to work extended hours during golf and holiday season
- Eligibility to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
