Job Summary
Manage and delegate work to the café Chef and F&B leads to ensure departmental standards, service levels, and Tribal regulations are met through effective scheduling. Ensure guest service standards are met while evaluating team performance, implementing corrective actions, and resolving guest complaints. Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling with General Manager approval, and conduct weekly one-on-ones, monthly development meetings, and quarterly feedback sessions. Oversee product and inventory supplies, verify quality standards, assist with menu development, and contribute to the department budget. Maintain awareness of company promotions, explain Players Club benefits to guests, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old
- Must have 5 years' experience in a Food and Beverage position, including 2 years in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
- Must have an OLCC Permit at the time of hire
- Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by TRCR's insurance agency
- Intermediate understanding of computer programs, with proficiency in all windows applications required
- Ability to work without supervision, to organize and track multiple projects with large amounts to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well in pressure situations, delegating to support staff as needed
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means
- Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing
- Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission
- Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend, and squat frequently
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food and beverage sales in a casino environment preferred
