Job Summary
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract golfers while contributing to the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Lead all food and beverage meetings, manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines, and forecast revenues and expenses to ensure company goals are met. Interview, select, train, and coach associates to ensure adherence to brand standards, service, sanitation, and productivity metrics. Monitor and control food, liquor, and equipment inventories, implement new menu items, and contribute to the development of the annual budget. Support efforts with community organizations like the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley and assist in banquets. Flexible working hours include holidays, weekends, and nights. Requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and strong IT knowledge including AV and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Food & Beverage Management experience in similar size restaurant/bar
- IT knowledge required including AV, Sound and troubleshooting
- Must have strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills
- Microsoft Office experience mandatory
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Must have knowledge of departmental operations
- Must have knowledge of computers and training techniques
- Must have knowledge of business law; federal, state and local taxes; and Department of Labor regulations
- Ability to exercise judgment in evaluating situations and in making sound decisions
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and cordial behavior
- Flexible working hours to include holidays, weekends and nights (closing shift)
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling and/or crouching
- Command of the English language, written and verbal
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Banquet and Event experience a plus
- Social Media acumen highly preferred, primarily to contribute to content library
