Job Summary
Greet and seat guests, manage restaurant reservations, and guide patrons to their tables. Run food and drinks, clear tables, set tables, and replenish buffet lines and service stations. Support bartenders with glassware polishing and replenishment. Deliver in-room dining orders, prepare service trays, take payments, and follow up with guests. Provide information about the restaurant, hotel, and surrounding area. Maintain positive relationships with the front-of-house team and perform all other duties as required to ensure operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for excellent guest service
- Excellent grooming and professional presentation
- Well organized during both slow and busy periods
- Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage operations including dining reservations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Fluency in English
- Self-motivated
- Ability to produce accurate work
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Have your Alberta ProServe
- Experience in a similar role
- Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift within the restaurant and adjacent service areas
- Carrying and lifting trays, glassware, and small service equipment, typically up to 25 lbs
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and stooping to set tables, clear tables, clear dishes and stock lounge area and maintain service stations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on business levels
