Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, take orders accurately, and process transactions using the point-of-sale system. Prepare and serve food and beverages while maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards. Manage stock, restock supplies, and meet sales targets by upselling items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and respond to guest concerns or requests for assistance. Work weekends and weekdays in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. This part-time role offers on-demand pay, holiday double pay, and various park discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to complete and pass the State Food Safety Certification exam
- Ability to pass cash handler certification
- Previous experience in a food and beverage role
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Compliance with Fun Spot America Park's drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing
- Adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use
- Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check
- Successfully undergo a motor vehicle check when applicable
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
- Ability to move around and stand for long periods of time
- At least 1 weekend day until closing and 1 weekday required
- Part-time under 30 hours per week
