FOOD AND BEVERAGE ASSISTANT MANAGER

The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager will supervise front-of-house restaurant and beverage operations during assigned shifts, open/close the outlet as needed, and assist in supervising other food and beverage outlets. Responsibilities include building guest relations to position Belterra Casino Resort as the preferred choice, managing shift readiness and cleanliness, handling staffing levels through scheduling and attendance records, monitoring budgets and labor costs, evaluating guest satisfaction and making improvement recommendations, resolving guest concerns, inspecting outlets for safety and asset protection, overseeing floor service during peak times, collaborating with F&B leadership to analyze food costs and forecast trends, and ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards. Required skills include strong leadership and communication, budgeting and cost-control capabilities, ability to obtain food safety certifications, familiarity with wine and alcoholic beverages, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a high school diploma or equivalent (or Bachelor's degree in Restaurant Management or related field). Indiana ABC permit (liquor license) is required.
