Follow Alongs - Eastgate

Provides services, support, and instructional assistance to assigned student throughout the school day to assure the health and safety of the student, per the direction of the intervention specialist and therapists, as applicable. Essential duties include assisting with daily needs such as personal care, feeding, and hygiene; accompanying the student in all school settings (cafeteria, restroom, classroom, gym, playground, bus); participating in instructional activities; following classroom management procedures; reviewing and supporting Instructional Goals and Behavior Plans; assisting with and implementing Instructional Programs and reviewing progress with teachers; maintaining a safe learning environment; performing other duties as requested; participating in required staff trainings (CPR, First Aid, MUI/UI, Crisis Prevention Training, etc.). Specialized duties include safe lifting, feeding, and toileting with wheelchair safety; other duties as assigned.
