Follow Along - Southgate

Provide services, support, and instruction to the assigned student throughout the school year to assure the health and safety of the student. Assist with daily needs including personal care, feeding, and basic hygiene; accompany the student throughout the school day (cafeteria, restrooms, classrooms, gym, playground, bus); participate in instructional activities and engage students during instruction; follow established classroom management procedures; become familiar with instructional goals and behavior plans, maintaining data; assist in implementing instructional programs and review progress with the teacher; maintain a safe learning environment; perform other duties as instructed; participate in staff trainings (e.g., MANDT, Van Training, CPR, Delegated Nursing, Child Abuse, Universal Precautions, MUI/UI). Specialized duties include safe lifting, feeding, and toileting assistance with wheelchair safety; other duties as assigned.
