Job Summary
As a Folder Gluer Operator at Millennium Print Group, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining folder gluer equipment, specifically handling complex folding carton jobs while ensuring quality, speed, and safety standards are met. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, mentor junior operators, document production processes, and lead improvements in the pressroom through preventative maintenance. Required qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 6 years of relevant experience in a printing or packaging environment, along with advanced knowledge of glue systems and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 years of folder gluing or finishing operator experience in a printing or packaging environment
- Advanced knowledge of glue systems (hot melt, cold glue, fugitive, window)
- Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and quality control skills
- Experience mentoring or leading junior operators
