Job Summary
The Rooms Controller is responsible for managing hotel room inventory, coordinating guest arrivals, and ensuring optimal room allocation to maximize guest satisfaction and hotel revenue. Key responsibilities include assigning rooms, pre-registering guests, organizing check-in procedures, tracking room statuses, reviewing reservations, confirming cancellations, and coordinating with Front Desk and Housekeeping teams. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a Guest Services Role or Room Controller experience
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
Desired Qualifications
- Competency with Marriott Property Management systems, Lightspeed
- Extensive computer knowledge, excellent working knowledge of Marsha
