Job Summary
Oversee daily breakfast operations at two outlets, including Starbucks Coffee House and JWB Grill, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high standards for food, service, and safety. Manage human resources functions such as recruiting, training, performance reviews, and coaching staff while maintaining a positive work environment. Coordinate activities for related outlets like Room Service and Bar, adjust labor schedules based on demand, and conduct weekly reports to the Director of F&B. Handle guest complaints using the LATTE model and maintain coffee inventory per brand standards. Work full-time hours exceeding 40 weeks, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of the operation of computers
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
- Ability to stand for entire shift and lift/push/pull 40lbs+
- Twelve (12) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
- Read, write and speak English
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit (ability to obtain manager certificate)
- Previous supervisory/management skills and experience
- Knowledge of the Barista roles as set up by coffee house or Starbucks
- 3 years retail / customer service management experience or 4+ years of US Military service
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mentality with experience in a sales focused environment
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor team partners with professional maturity
- Minimum High School or GED
- Legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the country in which you apply
- Ability to work full time (the work regularly demands in excess of 40 hours per week) including variable hours including early mornings, weekends and/ or holidays
