Job Summary
Provide front-of-house guest service in a fast-paced bakery/cafe environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers with a smile, taking orders, packing retail items and baked goods, delivering food and beverages promptly, restocking stations, bussing and cleaning duty stations, maintaining a sanitary work area, monitoring inventory for shortages, handling cash, and adhering to health/safety standards. Must have clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, lift up to 50 lbs, and obtain any required food handler’s/TABC cards. Flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays; knowledge of menu and quality control of beverages and baked goods are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Food handler’s card where required by local/state health code
- TABC card where required by local/state health code
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Cash handling
