Job Summary
Clear the bar counter, retrieve bread and condiments, and refill guest water glasses to keep the bartender stationed behind the bar. Confirm and stock pars for all beverages at the start of shift, replenish glassware and garnishes, and clean the bar counter, refrigerators, and coolers nightly. Remove trash, broken glass, and spills, then conduct a thorough breakdown at close of shift. Anticipate needs to maximize trips and manage high-volume service under pressure. Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment supporting the bar team at SA Hospitality Group's iconic New York locations.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate and understand direction in English
- Ability to understand, respond, and engage with co-workers, managers, and guests in English
- Very basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills
- Time management and ability to work under pressure
- Active listening and learning skills
- Reading and speaking comprehension skills
- Discipline to follow set standards
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Ability to submit satisfactory proof of employment authorization and identity
