Job Summary
Assist the Dietary Director with patient and cafeteria food service duties, including tray assembly, cart transport, delivery, and ware washing for retail and patient services. Perform sanitation tasks, trash removal, and maintain high standards of food safety and equipment care while following labeling and quality control practices. Work quickly under strict deadlines, manage flexible hours and overtime as needed, and cross-train on other food service department tasks. Maintain a professional demeanor and practice teamwork to support operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
- Basic Computer Skills
- Typing
- Customer Service
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Follow posted work schedules, payroll procedures and attendance guidelines
- Ability to work flexible hours, days off, and overtime as required by operational workloads
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times in compliance with current department standards and policy
- Promote and practice teamwork and present a positive role model for fellow team members
- Work quickly and well under strict time deadlines
