Job Summary
Develop and execute systems engineering plans for SPY-6 radar integration while creating and maintaining system requirements, specifications, and interface documentation. Perform modeling, simulation, and system performance analysis using MATLAB and laboratory tools to evaluate feasibility and validate engineering decisions. Participate in system integration, verification, and testing activities, including planning test plans and analyzing performance data. Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, and hardware/software allocation to ensure traceability throughout the program lifecycle. Coordinate with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams for technical reviews and program execution, with occasional travel to Moorestown NJ, Wallops Island, the Navy Yard, or Quantico VA. Requires an active Secret Clearance and a BS/BA in a STEM field.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience
- Experience supporting systems engineering activities including requirements development, specification management, systems integration, and design verification
- Ability to develop, analyze, and maintain system requirements, interface documentation, and engineering baselines while ensuring traceability throughout the program lifecycle
- Experience using engineering models and simulations to assess system performance, validate requirements, and support engineering decisions
- Experience planning, coordinating, or executing system testing, analyzing performance data, and supporting laboratory or integration testing activities
- Familiarity with MBSE tools, processes, and methodologies used to support system design and integration
- Ability to work closely with government engineers and multidisciplinary teams to support system integration, technical reviews, and program execution
- An ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
- Minimum of a BS/BA in a STEM field from an accredited University or College
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, or Electronics Engineering
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
