Job Summary
Flutter Mobile Development Lead responsible for leading the mobile engineering function across iOS and Android using Flutter; manage and mentor a team of Flutter developers based in Bangalore; collaborate with the Director of Engineering, product managers, designers, and backend engineers; balance hands-on development with architectural leadership; establish mobile engineering standards, release management, and best practices; ensure high performance, security, offline-first experiences, and strong test coverage; coordinate delivery between UK and India-based teams; experience with Flutter, Dart, REST APIs, AWS, CI/CD, and mobile analytics; health-tech domain experience and accessibility exposure are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years software engineering
- 3+ years Flutter development
- experience leading or mentoring mobile engineering teams
- experience managing distributed or offshore development teams
- experience delivering production mobile apps on iOS and Android
- strong knowledge of Flutter, Dart, mobile architecture, state management, APIs and cloud services
- experience with automated testing, CI/CD, Git workflows
- familiarity with AWS and modern backend architectures
- leadership and communication skills
- ability to work across distributed teams and time zones
