Job Summary
Fluid Systems Engineer for Nuclear sector focusing on Nuclear Island systems and validation of fluid networks. Lead and support fluid system design and integration activities across concept and detailed design phases, review and prepare System Design Manuals and related documentation, perform P&ID and thermal-hydraulic calculations, size pumps and pipework, calculate pressure relief and system safety features, maintain engineering process databases, coordinate supplier feedback, and support governance, safety and QA processes. Present technical solutions at design and stakeholder reviews and develop interfaces for Control & Instrumentation within regulated environments.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Process or Nuclear Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (BPSS as a minimum)
