Job Summary
Develop, modify, and maintain aircraft subsystems configurations, including Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Liquid Cooling Systems (LCS), Fuel Systems, and Hydraulic Systems. Design tubes/ducts and routing of transport elements; design secondary structural brackets to attach fluidic components to the primary structure. Perform design tasks using NX and Teamcenter; apply GD&T to ensure producibility and manufacturability; integrate subsystem components into aircraft applications. Participate in program/technical reviews, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure airworthiness criteria are met. Role may be filled at Fluid Subsystems Engineer (Level 2) or Principal Fluid Subsystems Engineer (Level 3) depending on qualifications. Location: Melbourne, FL; 10% travel; relocation assistance available; U.S. Secret clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM
- 2 years of related professional/military experience OR Master’s Degree in STEM with 0 years (for Level 2)
- Experience with aircraft subsystems fluidic routing design and/or integration
- Experience with CAD software (NX)
- Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government Secret clearance
- Ability to travel ~10%
