Job Summary
Operate FLT trucks to support production and haulier operations while safely loading and unloading HGVs in a busy yard environment. Maintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAs, assist with manual inspection and repair of equipment, and report any damage or operational issues promptly. Handle and rotate stock safely and efficiently, ensuring all vehicles are directed during loading and unloading activities. This role requires an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver with an external FLT licence and experience working in fast-paced environments. CHEP connects 300,000 supply chains for global brands, prioritizing safety and sustainable share-and-reuse models.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Counterbalance FLT Driver
- Busy yard environment experience
- HGV loading experience
- External FLT licence (RTITB or ITSSAR)
- In-house licences considered
- Safety-conscious mindset
- Reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with double/triple fork FLTs
