Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive analysis and interpretation of leukemia and lymphoma immunophenotyping studies by evaluating acquired data, applying gating strategies, and characterizing hematologic malignancies using the Beckman Coulter Navios EX Flow Cytometer. Independently analyze complex immunophenotypic patterns with Kaluza software to distinguish normal versus abnormal populations and prepare accurate case findings for pathologist review. Perform specimen preparation, antibody staining, and daily instrument startup, quality control, and troubleshooting in accordance with CLIA and regulatory policies. Maintain reagent inventory, execute preventive maintenance schedules, and document all laboratory activities to ensure compliance and optimal operations. Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory leadership to ensure timely, accurate patient results and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in biological sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences) or related area
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Flow Cytometry
- demonstrated experience in leukemia and lymphoma immunophenotyping
- Proficiency in Flow Cytometry data analysis and gating strategies
- ability to independently perform complex flow gating analysis
- identify abnormal cell populations
- interpret immunophenotypic patterns using analysis software such as Kaluza
Desired Qualifications
- ASCP certification
- Familiarity with Beckman Coulter Navios
