Job Summary
Clean inside bulk flour rail cars, sweep and vacuum floors, clean multiple plant areas, and manage trash collections and removal. Assist with routine facility maintenance and perform cross-trained tasks while maintaining food safety standards. Work mostly during day hours with some overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed. This physically strenuous role requires working in tight spaces, at heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English, pass a criminal background check, and wear provided PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- Must be able to ascend/descend ladders
- Must be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to wear PPE
