Job Summary
Load truck trailers with bulk flour, collect samples for lab analysis, and complete all necessary paperwork. Seal hatches, hoses, and transfer points while performing regular cleaning and maintenance on equipment. Maintain ongoing housekeeping standards and uphold food safety protocols throughout the shift. Work the 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and potential overtime. This role requires the ability to back trailers, drive a manual transmission, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. You must be able to read and follow instructions in English, work in tight spaces, and pass a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to back trailers
- Able to drive a manual transmission
- Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
- You will need the ability to ascend/descend ladders
- You will be required to wear PPE
- You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
- This job can be physically strenuous
- You will work every other weekend for at least one day
- This will be a 2nd shift job, 2:30pm to 11:30pm, Mon-Fri, with some overtime
Desired Qualifications
- CDL preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
