Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Essentials Instructor organizes and implements instructional programs to support students' academic success. Responsibilities include planning and preparing instructional activities, modifying resources to cater to diverse student needs, maintaining effective record-keeping, and collaborating with peers for enhancing the instructional environment. Strong communication skills are necessary for interaction with students, parents, and professionals. Candidates must demonstrate effective time management, have operational knowledge of the internet and web technologies, and should be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area assigned OR proof of active enrollment in a stated-approved EPI or MAT program AND either a valid Florida state-issued Statement of Eligibility OR valid Temporary Certificate in content area assigned
- Endorsements as required by Florida Department of Education
Additional Requirements
- Three years’ teaching experience preferred
