Job Summary
Perform psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations for DJJ-involved youth; review medical, psychiatric, and collateral records; provide clear diagnostic opinions and treatment recommendations; conduct evaluations on-site at DJJ facilities (no ongoing medication management required); 1099 contractor with per-evaluation compensation and opportunities for additional evaluation types based on expertise; flexible scheduling and statewide DJJ presence to support vulnerable youth.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
- Experience with psychiatric evaluations, forensic work, or juvenile populations preferred
- Ability to perform in-person evaluations
- Strong diagnostic and documentation skills
