Job Summary
Conduct patient consultations for medical marijuana certifications in accordance with Florida state laws, reviewing medical histories and qualifying conditions for patients of all ages including minors. Maintain accurate and compliant patient records while ensuring all services are delivered in a timely, professional, and ethical manner. This independent contractor role involves weekly part-time scheduling with flexible days, starting at one day per week and building to 2-3 days of 3-7 hours daily across four locations in NE Florida. Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted Florida medical license and be qualified to certify patients under state law.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Florida Medical License (MD or DO)
- Qualified to certify patients for medical marijuana under Florida law
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
- MMJ certification already or be willing to get it immediately
- Available to start one day a week and build up to at least 2-3 days/3-7 hours each day (Mon-Fri)
- Must be able to travel to one or possibly more of our offices located in Orange Park, Palatka, St Augustine and Eustis, Florida
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in alternative or holistic medicine
- Experience with weight loss or hormone replacement therapy
