Job Summary
3rd shift Housing Support Staff at Florence House provides direct service to women accessing housing services, engaging clients and tenants, participating in casework, ensuring safety in program spaces, delivering crisis intervention, and helping clients meet housing goals and maintain housing stability. The role requires MHSS certification, working Saturday-Tuesday 10:00 pm–8:00 am, and a commitment to low-barrier, empathetic, team-based support within a nonprofit housing-first program.
Required Qualifications
- MHSS certification required (can be obtained on the job/after hire)
- strong communication, de-escalation, and crisis intervention skills
- familiarity with community resources
- ability to work with diverse populations
- ability to work as part of a team
- willingness to work evening, overnight, and weekend hours
- must remain awake during shifts
