Job Summary
Floral Utility Clerk in Calgary Co-op's floral department supports customer service, stock maintenance, and merchandising. Responsibilities include handling floral products (potted plants, cut flowers, balloon program, giftware), creating and communicating pricing, maintaining displays and inventory, ensuring display presentation, processing receiving including invoices/returns/transfers/claims, shrink control, and adherence to safety and environmental policies. The role involves cleaning and organizing sales floor, assisting vendors, and training others as needed; candidates should have floral retail experience and pass an in-house floral arrangement test.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Related floral retail experience, including the provision of customer service
- Must pass in-house Floral Arrangement testing
