Job Summary
Design custom floral arrangements and provide exceptional service to all clientele while maintaining a clean, attractive display atmosphere. Direct all Floral Associates through scheduling, thorough training, and problem-solving to ensure outstanding customer experiences. Manage daily operations by following merchandising plans, controlling inventory and shrink, maximizing sales, and ordering products. Establish cleaning programs for display cases and complete all necessary reports, inventories, and financial projections. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, security policies, and governmental regulations while maintaining clear communication across departments.
Required Qualifications
- Design skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
