Job Summary
Direct all Floral Associates, design custom arrangements, and provide exceptional service to clientele. Manage inventory, control shrink, maximize sales, and execute merchandising plans while ordering products. Establish cleaning programs for display cases and maintain a clean, attractive atmosphere. Complete daily reports, inventories, and sales/labor/gross profit projections. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Schedule and train team members thoroughly, answering questions and empowering staff. Maintain clear communication with other departments and adhere to all company policies, including dress code.
Required Qualifications
- Design skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
