Job Summary
Direct all floral associates and lead the design of custom arrangements while maintaining a clean, attractive display atmosphere. Manage inventory, control shrink, and execute merchandising plans to maximize sales, including ordering supplies and establishing cleaning protocols for display cases. Schedule and train team members thoroughly, answer their questions, and complete daily reports for sales, labor, and gross profit projections. Ensure full compliance with safety, sanitation, and health department regulations while maintaining clear communication across departments. This role requires lifting 50 lb. boxes and using sharp instruments, with a full-time schedule reporting directly to the Store Director and Floral Director.
Required Qualifications
- Design skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
