Job Summary
Direct all floral associates and lead the design of custom arrangements while maintaining a clean, attractive display environment. Manage daily operations by controlling inventory, minimizing shrink, and executing merchandising plans to maximize sales. Train team members thoroughly, answer customer questions, and establish cleaning programs for display cases. Complete all necessary reports, inventories, and financial projections including sales, labor, and gross profit targets. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health department regulations while maintaining clear communication across departments. This medium-physical role requires lifting 50 lb. boxes and using sharp instruments, with full-time hours and a direct report to the Store Director.
Required Qualifications
- Design skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
