Job Summary
Design custom floral arrangements and provide exceptional service to clientele while maintaining a clean, attractive display atmosphere. Direct all Floral Associates through scheduling, thorough training, and problem-solving to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Manage inventory, control shrink, follow merchandising plans, and complete daily reports to attain sales, labor, and gross profit projections. Establish cleaning programs for display cases and maintain clear communication with other departments. Requires ability to lift 50 lb. boxes, use sharp instruments, and work on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Design skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes
