Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of the floral department at Grand Central Store in San Francisco, lead and train floral team in arranging, wrapping, and merchandising flowers and plants; develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales; maintain inventory, manage ordering, and control shrink; provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated inquiries; monitor health and safety standards; plan and execute seasonal promotions and events; supervise scheduling, training, and performance of floral department staff; collaborate to meet department goals with strong leadership and team-building skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral merchandise, with a desire to stay current on trends.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
