Job Summary
Deliver floral orders promptly while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle and documenting all trips in a driving log. Manage daily deliveries across assigned areas using map reading skills, ensuring all boxes are properly secured and inspected before transport. Adhere to strict safety, sanitation, and dress code policies while communicating clearly with store departments and clientele. Maintain basic automotive maintenance skills and perform daily vehicle checks to report any issues immediately. Requires good communication, phone etiquette, and a clean driving record, with CDL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess good communication skills, phone etiquette, and driving skills
- Must have a clean driving record and if applicable CDL
- Must have basic directional skills, map reading, and knowledge of delivery areas
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes
