Job Summary
Design custom floral arrangements and provide exceptional service to clientele while answering phones and taking orders. Assist the floral manager with merchandising, preparing, and conditioning products to maintain a clean, attractive sales floor. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and health department regulations by cleaning prep areas and maintaining dry floors. Lift 50 lb. boxes and exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently while using knives and sharp instruments. Maintain clear communication with other departments and adhere to dress code and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Design skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
