Job Summary
Design custom floral arrangements and provide exceptional service to all clientele while answering phones and taking orders. Assist the floral manager with merchandising, product preparation, conditioning, and general maintenance to ensure a clean, attractive, and inviting atmosphere. Maintain dry floors, clean prep areas and the sales floor, and comply with all safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Lift 50 lb. boxes and exert significant force frequently while using knives and sharp instruments. Requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to stand, stoop, and work on slippery floors. Reports directly to the Store Director or Floral Manager in a flexible environment dedicated to supporting local communities.
Required Qualifications
- Design skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
