Job Summary
Greet every customer and provide outstanding service while rotating stocked items and using markdown coupons to reduce close-dated products. Assist the Floral Manager in receiving trucks, breaking down loads into coolers, and completing all daily duties. Comply with company trim standards, safety guidelines, and policies, including reporting missing safety mechanisms and following the dress code. Lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while handling materials and using knives for product preparation. This entry-level role requires good vision, hearing, and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various work stations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good corrected vision
- Must have good hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
