Job Summary
Greet every customer, thank them, and provide outstanding customer service in a clean, friendly environment. Assist the Floral Manager with daily duties, including receiving trucks, breaking down loads into coolers, and rotating stocked items. Comply with all company trim standards, safety guidelines, and policies, reporting any missing or non-functional safety mechanisms immediately. Use markdown coupons to reduce close-dated products and properly utilize merchandising areas to promote sales. Lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently while handling materials, using knives and sharp instruments for product preparation. Maintain good corrected vision and hearing while standing, moving, and working on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various work stations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good corrected vision
- Must have good hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
