Job Summary
Flooring Solutions Technician 1 coordinates with leadership to service, operate, set up, and repair rental equipment; performs check-ins, minor repairs, loading/unloading, cleaning, detailing for rent-ready status, preventive maintenance, inventory management, and coordinates deliveries, pickup, and service calls; maintains records, tools, and vehicle; trains authorized operators and ensures safety; on-call for emergency service on rotating weekends/evenings; requires high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of mechanic experience; strong troubleshooting, safety-awareness, and ability to work independently; benefits include extensive on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 to 3 years of mechanic experience with IC engines, propane, electrical, and hydraulic experience
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to prioritize work assignments
- Ability to work independently and be flexible
- Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness
- Working knowledge of equipment design and safety requirements
- Prior floor care equipment experience strongly preferred
