Flooring Project Manager

Job Summary
Oversee projects from initial planning through final installation, coordinating scheduling, material ordering, and installer relationships to ensure timely delivery and exceptional quality. Analyze blueprints and specifications to create accurate material and labor estimates, present bids to customers, and execute procurement and production schedules. Manage inventory, logistics, and distribution while monitoring independent installers and communicating directly with site supervisors and general contractors. Work with warehouse and flooring teams to promote cooperation and fill in for absent staff as needed. Requires weekend availability and flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience
- 2-3 years of project management experience preferred
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude
- Ability to communicate well with others and possess good problem-solving ability
- Possess basic computer knowledge
- Availability to work weekends required, along with overall scheduling flexibility
- Must be able to interact with all levels of management
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of floor covering preferred
