Job Summary
Flooring Field Manager (East Valley) oversees field operations to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality project execution. Responsibilities include supervising field crews, developing daily/weekly work schedules, conducting on-site inspections for quality and safety, coordinating with project management, logistics, and manufacturing teams, and serving as the primary on-site liaison with customers, builders, and subcontractors. Requires leadership and team-management skills, ability to read blueprints and technical documents, strong problem-solving and communication abilities, and a high school diploma with 5+ years in related field operations or construction management. Travel to job sites is expected; the role emphasizes safety compliance, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. Safety, quality, and timely delivery are key focus areas; the role also involves mentoring field staff and reporting on project progress.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in field operations, construction, or project management
- Experience in 1 or more flooring construction trades (Tile, Wood, Carpet)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Effective communication across departments and with customers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of OSHA and local safety standards (safety inspections and compliance)
- Experience supervising field crews and coordinating with project management, logistics, and manufacturing teams
- Willingness to travel frequently to job sites
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (preferred)
- Proficiency with project management software and field reporting tools (preferred)
