Job Summary
Floor Worker (DA) with 1:00pm–10:00pm core hours in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include sweeps and mops of hallways, offices, and stairs; waxing and buffing floors; stripping and waxing floors; shampooing rugs and carpets; high dusting and cleaning of offices, corridors, and restrooms; general cleaning tasks (trash, recycling, vacuuming, glass cleaning, etc.); mixing cleaning solutions; maintaining equipment; and notifying supervisor when supplies are needed. Must stand 80% of time, lift/carry 50 pounds, and be able to climb/balance/kneel; must have three years of cleaning experience and one year of floor experience; must pass medical exams, background checks, drug screening, and obtain/maintain a government security clearance. Required Qualifications
- Three years of cleaning experience
- One year of floor experience
- Ability to satisfactorily complete medical exams
- Must pass security clearance for designated contracts
- Background checks including pre-employment checks and E-Verify
- Criminal history information background check and drug screening
- Documented proof of disability is required prior to the interview
