Job Summary
Schedule and complete floor restoration tasks including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, and carpet cleaning for assigned areas. Inspect and prepare necessary equipment and chemicals, then perform quality reviews on finished projects. Secure all equipment at completion and request repairs or install local out tags as required. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned while adhering to safety procedures. This role involves working in office environments or customer locations such as commissaries, federal courthouses, or military bases.
Required Qualifications
- One year of custodial work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from customers and others
- Ability to read and follow written instructions on labels for proper and safe use of chemicals, supplies and equipment
- Ability to learn to use specialized departmental equipment including that used in custodial services such as scrubbers and buffers
- Valid Driver's License
