Job Summary
Conduct floor care procedures including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing of hard surfaces while operating industrial equipment safely. Maintain carpeted and upholstered surfaces through shampooing, vacuuming, spot cleaning, and extraction. Perform routine maintenance and restorative care for all floor types, ensuring a clean, safe, and polished appearance throughout the facility. Collect, handle, and dispose of municipal solid, infectious, and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with regulatory standards. Report maintenance, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly to supervisory staff. Follow all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory requirements while performing duties.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a related environmental services role preferred.
- Working knowledge of floor care equipment, chemicals, and maintenance techniques preferred.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use appropriate precautions due to physical and environmental risks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
