Job Summary
Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, and metal surfaces to keep the community looking its best. Remove trash, deliver soiled linens, support event set-up and teardown, and respond to spills and other cleaning needs as requested. Care for assigned equipment and report repair needs for furniture, fixtures, and building items. Follow safety procedures during emergencies and support assigned duties as needed while reflecting the C.A.R.E. First! philosophy. Requires two years of floor technician experience and knowledge of stripping, finishing, burnishing, scrubbing, and carpet extraction. Work 1st shift (7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.) or 2nd shift (3 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.), including occasional weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of floor technician experience
- Knowledge of stripping and finishing, burnishing, scrubbing, light carpet extraction, deep carpet extraction, and upholstery extraction
- Availability to work evenings, some weekends, and holidays
- Pre-employment screening
- Eligibility to work in the United States
