Job Summary
Conduct floor care functions including waxing, stripping, buffing, and maintenance of tile, carpet, and brick flooring. Operate motorized cleaning equipment and chemicals while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety protocols. Stop risk behaviors, report hazards, and support shift leads on punch-list items during staff shortages. Perform these duties between 6pm and 4:30am from Sunday to Wednesday at $15–16/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Complete all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 6 mo-1 year experience preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience
