Job Summary
Conduct assigned floor care functions including waxing, stripping, buffing, and maintenance of tile, carpet, and brick flooring. Operate motorized cleaning equipment and chemical supplies while adhering to safety rules and procedures. Maintain clean work areas, complete punch-list items, and fill in during staff shortages in custodial or maintenance roles. Use proper personal protective equipment and report safety hazards as appropriate. Work Monday through Friday from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am at $17.00–$17.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Complete all safety and task training certification
- May be required to be forklift certified
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 6 mo-1 year experience preferred: or equivalent combination of education and experience
